This is the third book in the series and a book I was looking forward to reading and Ms. René did not disappoint me. Through flashbacks, we saw that Jacob and Lena met in college. She didn't want to give him the time of day at that time because he was a player but Jacob was very persistent in his pursuit of Lena. They ended up falling deeply in love after Jacob convinced Lena he was a changed man and she was the woman for him. Tradegy struck but their love brought them through. Fast forward to the present, Jacob and Lena still have a deep and abiding love for each other. They are going about living their lives when a surprise happens. Tension, resentment and anguish enters their marriage at this point. Once again, their love brings them through. This was a delightful book to read and a book that I highly recommend. I'm certainly looking forward to Rasheed and Lidya's book because I know there's some secrets to be exposed in their story.
