This is another great book by Ms. Riddick. After 2 years, Teresa is estranged from her mother and father after their devastating argument about the man she was dating. Unbeknownst to Teresa, her brother Alonzo hired an agency that Pierce works for to keep tabs on her. Pierce becomes enamored with Teresa after following her around for 2 years. After Teresa moves home to start her career and once the assignment is over, Pierce realizes he wants to have Teresa in his life. After a chance meeting, the chemistry between the two is fire. Through this book, we get to read about love, passion, cultural racial tension, forgiveness, healing and some comedy. I really loved how the exes were handled and the peeping granny. Ms. Riddick did such a good job with this book that I can't wait for Julio's book.
