Kirby Allen is down on her luck and needs a place to live. Channing Lucas is in need of a bride to get control of his family’s company. Through a lot of meddling and desperation on both parts, they decide to save each other with a temporary marriage. Sounds like a typical romance, right? Wrong? Throw in a nosy mother in law with the best of intentions and a girlfriend who wants to teach Kirby how keep this temporary marriage paying off far in to the future, and you get Love and Loopholes. Ms. Stone has a done a good job drawing us in to the romance that blossoms between these two, despite the shenanigans from those around them. She leaves you rooting for the characters and wanting them to get together. I looked forward to reading how they would handle becoming the couple I wanted them to be, even when ordinary circumstances would have kept them apart.
