D. Camille wrote about a subject in her book 'His Diamond: Simone's Story' which many women feel ashamed to admit to, abuse by an intimate partner. With the abuse Simone developed trust, low self esteem and judgement issues. With the help of a good therapist, a good friend and the Sun God she was able to find her beautiful self within. Even though this is a love story there are several issues touched on both negative and positive. Yes, Simone does conquer many of her issues and finds love but you need to read this book to see the steps one goes through when on is abused. Also to see who is her Diamond. 5 stars
