I just finished reading Murder with Fried Chicken and Waffles A Mahalia Watkins Soul Food Mystery by A.L. Herbert a new author to me. I give this book 5 's

It has a little bit of everything, Murder, Comedy, Mystery and even some Fabulous Recipes. What I really liked about this book is that most of the story takes place in a restaurant called Mahalia's Sweet Tea in the DC/Maryland area. Anyone reading this book is going to love the owner of the restaurant Mahalia Watkins and her crazy cousin Wavonne as the 2 of them get together to try and solve a murder that happens in the restaurant after hours. It's a laugh out loud must read.
